Angelica + Eric: Rustic Farm Wedding

Working with this couple was such a fun collaboration

Angelica and Eric, both creative people, had a clear idea of the type of wedding they wanted. We “clicked” from our first meeting and they trusted me with the creative freedom to bring their perfect day to fruition.

Their chosen venue, Suzie’s Farm, was (and is!) a perfect venue for a rustic wedding. The beautiful, open setting provided a blank canvas to create separate spaces for the ceremony and reception.

The reception area included a lightbulb chandelier above the dining tables. Strung-together pennants of vintage fabric were suspended from trees and structures. Haystack “couches” offered guests a place to sit and socialize. The bar was built from vintage bottles stacked in creates built by Eric, a talented woodworker (he also built the amazing wooden “gateway” through which Angelica walked to enter the ceremony).

The best part of working with this couple was the relationship that developed through this process. Both have become dear friends and special people in my life.

Thank you, Angelica and Eric, for trusting me to create your dream wedding!
