Baby Shower for Roderic’s Mama

There’s nothing that fills my heart with joy more than celebrating people I love.
This shower celebrated the impending arrival of the first-born child of my dear friends, Angelica and Eric.
Mainly staged outside, we created an intimate, warm, feminine aesthetic. White urns and vases were used for flowers, including the horse vase used as a large centerpiece. The color palette incorporated neutrals, touches of grey, and metallics. Dinner plates were customized with hand-lettered phrases celebrating the baby boy. Tablecloths and napkins were sourced from Oaxaca, Mexico. Special details included the various animal heads used to create the tablescape for the dessert table that presented individual ruffled and “naked” cakes.
